Chocolate For Lent; Campaign For Hope For Sydney
Story
Hello! Would you give to my campaign for Hope For Sydney during Lent this year? I am foregoing - or "fasting" - chocolate until Good Friday (!), and using the money saved to help Hope For Sydney bring volunteers to serve our neighbours in need.
Lent, the weeks leading to Easter, is traditionally a time to focus on God in prayer, and fasting helps with that focus. Isaiah 58:6-7 says that God desires fasting over the concerns of injustice, oppression and the poor. Please help my efforts to benefit Hope For Sydney during this time.
